    Simon Drakeford CEO

    Hi I’m Simon, the founder of Office Power. When I started the business I have worked very closely with office supplies dealers as a chief architect to build the platform. This hands-on approach along with years of experience in working with progressive technologies and businesses has equipped me with the right knowledge and experience for this exciting venture.

    Before we partner with any of the businesses, we go through a very thorough financial analysis of your business to make sure it’s the right fit and we can help you achieve your goals. As a result I have done analysis of multiple office supplies businesses and have a very good knowledge of the industry. I meet with all of our future partners to understand the unique aspects of their business. Together we uncover opportunities in their business and brainstorm ideas on how we can drive the business forward.

  • Nick Wilson

    Nick Wilson CFO

    Hi, I’m Nick, I’m the Chief Financial Officer for Office Power and the EO-Group. I’ve been with Office Power since its conception in 2012. Since the beginning I have been working closely with our partners to help them develop financial plans to meet their objectives. I enjoy finding commercial opportunities in our partners' businesses and witnessing how through our support, they are able to achieve their financial goals.

    I’m responsible for all Office Power’s financial functions, ensuring a robust control and process environment. Together with my team of finance experts we support our partners with tendering for new business, analysing commercial opportunities, developing financial plans and minimising risks. I have over 15 years of financial and commercial experience. This equips me with expertise and confidence to analyse potential and current partner businesses and advise on their administrative, financial, and risk management operations.

    I believe that through financial analysis we can uncover some very exciting opportunities for our future partners. We analyse every business before we partner up,  so even if we don’t go ahead with the partnership, you get valuable insight into your business from a financial angle. We make the process as easy and straight-forward as possible. Numbers don’t have to be boring or complex, in fact they can be fun and exciting, trust me!

  • Richard Sinclair

    Richard Sinclair COO

    Hi, I’m Richard, I’m the Chief Operating Officer for Office Power and the EO-Group. I’ve been with the business since the conception of Office Power in 2013 and I oversee ongoing operations, customer service, marketing, CX and our product strategy across the group. Since the conception of Office Power the key goals of my team have been to develop our technology, marketing, customer service and operational tools so they are optimised for our partners. This means staying ahead of the current industry trends and continuously working on making sure our partners and their customers enjoy using our Power Portals and our market leading websites, supported by market leading operational teams.

    We ensure that our dealers have the tools they need to smoothly run their business, constantly developing our product features alongside our dealers to drive growth into our dealers’ businesses. We also make sure that our partners’ customers have a smooth and hassle-free shopping experience with a fully responsive design solution, optimised for SEO and Google.

    We talk to our partners on a daily basis to find out how we can improve our technology, operational and service offerings to help them meet their business needs. Continuously learning from them not only helps us improve our product, but also allows us to introduce new features and tools that are driven by our partners’ needs.

  • Mark Gibbard

    Mark Gibbard CTO

    Hi, I'm Mark, I'm the CTO for Office Power and the EO Group. In my role I look after the team who build and maintain the platform for you. From building new features on the dealer portal or customer websites, to making sure your websites load quickly, to sending orders to suppliers, to invoicing, to securing your data, to making sure the telephones work so you and your customers can contact Customer Services - none of this happens without us. We underpin it all.

    I started my career at GlaxoSmithKline on their fast-track IT graduate scheme, which gave me a very board start in technology and taught me lots about how to build large scale software with high quality. I then moved into IT consultancy and started my own business and had big clients including the European Medicines Agency. After that I moved into the online world working for Sportingbet and DMG Media (who own the Mail Online, the Daily Mail and Metro newspapers) before starting at Office Power. The blend of experience in big businesses as well as small start-ups has given me the ideal background for Office Power, providing software with the quality levels expected by large corporate organisations but with the understanding of running your own business.

    Technology is always changing and develops at a very fast pace, so here at Office Power we have developed a platform and supporting processes which embraces that pace of change and makes the most of it for our partners. We use the latest technologies and automate our software development processes to ensure great quality and reliability, allowing us to release new software to the platform every week. We never stand still, we are always evolving.

  • Simon Shaw

    Simon Shaw Head of Customer Success

    Hi, I’m Simon, I’m the Head of Customer Success at Office Power and despite my youthful looks, I’m the longest serving employee of the group. I oversee day-to-day customer service functions to make sure that our partners are supported in offering the best service and delivery performance seamlessly. One of the key components of the Office Power service offering is to make sure that our partners don’t need to deal with any day-to-day customer service queries. That’s why my team work tirelessly to ensure service effectiveness and efficiency. We enable our dealers to free up time, focus on what’s important and drive their business forward.

    My role is really varied, and I have a comprehensive understanding of the whole of the business, having previously acted as Head of Operations. I work with almost every team member in Office Power, as well as our dealer partners. Before joining Office Power, I worked with large companies such as Hewlett Packard and Compaq in logistics manager roles, overseeing order administration and service operations teams, as well as supporting large re-sellers.

    I believe that understanding the challenges our partners face is key to making sure we provide the best service we possibly can. That’s why we communicate with our partners daily and learn all ins-and-outs of their daily pains. We ask for formal feedback every Friday and our dealers provide us with a weekly satisfaction score (which is consistently over 80%). This allows us to listen and continuously improve our customer service support.

  • Colin Streeter

    Colin Streeter Head of Category

    Hi, I’m Colin, I’m the Head of Category at Office Power. My team and I work to ensure our dealer partners benefit from the best sourcing, ranging and buying strategies available.

    Prior to joining Office Power in November 2014, I was a senior member of the management team at Spicers. I was responsible for supporting their biggest dealers by defining, implementing and executing key strategic processes. This included developments in process across merchandising, logistics, sales and commercial structures. This experience has equipped me with the right skills that now enable me to help our partners.  Customers’ needs are continually changing and it’s critical that Office Power can both predict those changes and support our dealers to provide a range of products that helps to attract new customers, as well as encourage customer loyalty and increase average basket value.

    Office Power portal helps dealers understand their commercial opportunities and we work with them to maximise these.  We work with our dealer partners to ensure there is a robust business plan in place that supports, growth, customer acquisition, maximising customer spend, pricing management, margin planning, marketing and merchandising.  What makes Power different is the ability to offer these services through the best in class technology.

    Antony Morgan Head of Design

    Hi I'm Antony, Head of Design at Office Power. I've worked in digital creative sector for 20 years across multiple agencies. Since joining the Office Power team, I have overseen the look and feel of the dealer website and portal from day one. For me, what really sets us apart is helping our partners enhance their brand and online presence.

    Our teams’ design knowledge and experience ensures our partners interact with their customers and present themselves in the way that is most relevant to them. My biggest motivation since the start of Office Power – and as a result of the work we do – is seeing a lot of happy and successful partners.

    Some of our partners wanted to re-brand, some wanted to build a new brand from scratch, and others wanted to expand their established brand. Whatever our partners’ needs are we always help them stand out and make their brand shine.

    Alina Fisher Group Marketing Manager

    Hi, I’m Alina and I’m the Group Marketing Manager at Office Power. I plan the direction of all marketing activity on our promotional campaigns. I am passionate about promoting Office Power because our offer empowers our partners to grow a strong business they are proud of. I enjoy seeing our partners become more successful and more prosperous.

    I have over eight years of experience in marketing strategy and communications. This includes online marketing strategy, email strategy, direct marketing, content marketing, market research, marketing communications, social media marketing, SEO, press relations, advertising, branding and reputation management, event marketing and management and more. I am confident that with my skills and experience I can help our partners build strong brands.

    I believe that our partners are at the heart of everything we do at Office Power. That’s why we dedicate a lot of time understanding their challenges and making sure their journey with us is easy and fun.     Chris Armstrong Commercial Director

    Hi, I’m Chris, the Commercial Director at Office Power. I’m the first employee of Office Power and previously worked at Superstat Dealer Group. I get a buzz from working with our partners and building relationships, the best part is using my technical knowledge and pragmatic approach to understand the individual challenges and the specific objectives of each office supplies business we partner with.

    Initially I worked with the Technical and Finance teams scoping, planning and developing the Office Power platform. Now I’m focussing on building long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with future partners. I have thirty years experience in businesses of varying sizes from start-ups to corporate organisations and this experience allows me to quickly understand our potential partner’s business and determine how Office Power can help them achieve their goals.  As we only partner with businesses who would benefit from working with us, it’s really important to understand their objectives early in the process.

    I believe that joining forces with our partners and building meaningful and trusting relationships is what helps us really drive our partner businesses forward and sets us apart from other organisations.     Tristen Hinds Partner Success Account Manager

    Hi, I’m Tristen, I’m the Partner Success Account Manager at Office Power. Here at Office Power, our technology and support services continue to win awards year on year, and I work closely with our dealers to ensure they get the most out of what we offer. A partnership with Office Power is exactly that, a partnership. Each of our dealers are unique but with one common goal, to be prosperous, my role is to help them achieve that.

    I joined Office Power after 7 successful years with Prima Software, where I developed a strong understanding of different technology offerings in the market and what kind of software benefits dealers. Prior to that I headed up the sales and marketing teams at the Hertfordshire-based dealer VRC Office Supplies for 14 years, where we successfully grew the business year on year.

    I believe that helping our partners enhance their brand and identity is really what sets us apart. Our partners have brands and businesses that they are proud of, while we are helping them in the background. We do that not only by giving them the most advanced technology, but also by sharing our knowledge and experience.

I’ve been in the Business Supplies industry for 25 years working with industry giants like Lyreco and Staples and I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly parts of all aspects of the industry and for the last five years gaining another valuable aspect from the view of great local dealers.

    My experience in the industry is comprehensive and has helped me gain a real understanding of the market challenges that dealers face and how growth and adaptability is paramount to a business’ success.     Paul McManamon User Adoption Manager

    Hi, I’m Paul and I am a User Adoption Manager at Office Power. I look after our partners and ensure the successful Launch, Communication and Training of all new technology features across our platform, development of a full platform training programme and continuous communication with our partners to identify gaps in our current offering and shape our product development roadmap.

    I have been part of the Office Power team from day one. I have a strong background in customer service and have heaps of experience in supporting both our partners and their customers. I also know the Office Power systems inside and out. This means I can support our partner dealers to manage day to day operations, implement marketing strategies and provide training on any aspect of the platform.

    I believe that building relationships and working towards shared goals is extremely important. By taking care of our partners’ routine tasks, we enable them to have more control of their business. Our partners have more time for building relationships with their own clients and developing a vision for the future of their business.   • Anthony Ephgrave

    Anthony Ephgrave Head of Operations

    Hi, I’m Anthony, I’m the Head of Operations at Office Power. I oversee all the day to day operations functions here at Office Power, ensuring our dealer partners can trade easily, effectively and efficiently. My team and I are always working to improve processes and procedures around order flow, to minimise any impact on orders being delayed, and to ensure efficient cash allocation and credit control are executed expertly. I also drive efficiency in the Dealer Specific Product order processes, ensuring this is carried out seamlessly for all dealer partners.

    Before joining Office Power, I worked for 5 years as a professional contractor, working on several large multimillion-pound finance improvement projects. Companies included British Gas, Unilever, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Callaway Golf, Chubb, Hays Recruitment and Charles Taylor Insurance. I am highly experienced in the industry, having also created an independently awarded ‘Centre of Excellence’ Shared Service Centre, which oversaw credit control, cash allocation and accounts, getting bad debt losses to the lowest in the company’s history.

    I believe that the key to excellent operational processes at Office Power is achieved by working closely with our dealers to support their specific requirements, ensuring all orders are processed as efficiently as possible, customers are pro-actively called for any due balances and cash is allocated as per targets.

    Mark Davis Head of Partner Success

    Hi, I’m Mark, I’m the Head of Partner Success for Office Power. My team and I provide training and ongoing support to ensure our partners make the most out of our platform, technology and services. A former dealer myself, I now work with our dealer partners to ensure their businesses are robust and help plan for the future, with sales strategy, pricing management, margin planning, marketing tools and merchandising. What makes Power different is its ability to offer these services through leading technology. With over 18 years of commercial and industry experience, I am fully equipped to lead my team and focus our dealer partners on the most important activities required to running a successful business.

    The Office Power portal enables dealers to run their businesses in the most efficient way possible, by using our technology and services. It frees up time to allow you, the dealer, to concentrate on maximising sales opportunities within your customer base.

    Prior to joining Office Power in December 2018, I was a dealer principle myself. I set up my office supplies dealership in 2000, and subsequently sold it in 2007. I then ran the sales and marketing functionality for 11 years. My experience covers the entire spectrum of principles required for running a successful business including pricing strategy, marketing, maximising e-commerce platforms, logistics and client account management.
